Welcome to my blog!
I kinda hate these about pages. They are a necessary part of blogging I guess because people want to click on the link and see a little blip about who you are. But how do you accurately describe yourself in a paragraph or two? And how do you do so without seeming boastful? Many times it seems like the How to Boast About Yourself page.
So, here goes. (Hopefully minus the pride.)
I am a Christian, 30-something, wife of my college sweetheart, homeschool mom to my two not-so-little-anymore blessings, homeschool graduate, published-at- 19-years-old author, sufferer of many illnesses, chaser of Jesus. I mention my faith twice because it is most important to me. It is the foundation of what I do and why I do it.
I try to live intentionally: to be aware of the choices I make and my motivation behind them. I try to make sure that those choices and motivation align with scripture. I am passionate about scripture and passionate about exposing false teaching which is deceiving many in our churches today. I am also passionate about taking the yoke of burden from other Christian women: the yoke of not being perfect enough, of measuring up to societal standards, of being wrongly judged and even mistreated by other Christians.
The purpose of this blog is to encourage and challenge those who read it. It is not a pulpit. I am not a preacher. I am just a girl who Jesus put a fire in her heart for the truth. The truth has set me free, and it can you too. I am not just talking about the truth of salvation, but also the truth that we can live lives free of legalism and free of the bondages of human tradition and unscriptural teachings that infiltrates our American Christian culture.
The Bible is the final authority in my life, and it is the foundation of my writing. Sola Scriptura!
If you want to know more about how I view the Bible, how to correctly approach scripture and correctly apply it to your life, see this article (not part of my blog) which explains Bible interpretation.
If you want to read more about homeschooling, see this link.
If you want to know more about what God is doing through my illness, start here.
If you need a load lifted, if you constantly feel like you are judged for not being good enough, maybe this article would be encouraging.
It is my prayer that you would be strengthened and encouraged by what you read here.
Above all else, may my life bring honor and glory to the Lord. Soli Deo gloria!
Blessings,
Sarah

How do I contact you with a question about the resources for a chart you created in one of your blogs?
Hi Tracy! 🙂 You can contact me at sarah.graceunderpressure.blog
Most of the information in my charts came from Dr Russell Barkley. I watched a bunch of his videos on YouTube, but the best one IMHO is at the bottom of this post. It is a video series. https://graceunderpressure.blog/2017/02/18/adhd-child/amp/
Tracy, that email might not work. I’m having server issues right now. If you give me your email in the comments I’ll send you a message from my personal email account. I won’t publish comment with the email so only you and I will see it.
